Simon is an accredited practitioner of EMDR and is a member of the EMDR Association of Australia.

EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories by supporting the brain to resume its natural healing process and does not require talking in detail about the distressing issue.

After the therapist and client agree that EMDR therapy is a good fit, the client will work through the eight phases of EMDR therapy. A typical EMDR therapy session lasts from 60-90 minutes and requires at least five to ten sessions.
